How I don't know but I am stuck in First and (I think ) second gears. I got the cover off and tried to pry gears into neutral , rocked tractor ,clutch blocked down. I put a LOT of preasure 4 ft bar even. Next I am going to jack rear see if that helps. Of course is way out back and cannot tow , has front loader ( to get in the way). Would be very hard to split where it is at. Any sugestions? Thanks, Joe

I have an 8N tractor that is stuck in first and reverse. Did you find a way to fix yours?

Deri , No luck yet had to put it on the to do list. It looks like I have a broken tooth jamed between the gears. It is locked up tight! My neighbor is bringing his 600 with a boom to move the front end loader, I have moved the flail mower out of the way. The plan is to split it behind the tranny. If your's is not this bad , take the top cover off, look at the gears and shifters, with a small pry try to move everything to neutral , rock tractor ,might help while you are prying. Lots Of Luck and let me know how you come out, joe
