Got this from a Bob Harvey. Did you read it and do you agree? Is that why now that my ceramic ballist resistor is installed it sputters?

Just wondering...when you installed the electronic ignition, did you use a 12v coil ?? If you did, you can eliminate the 'infamous' resistor jobby. my $.07 (inflation & exchange)

Bob Harvey is telling you you can eliminate the factory OEM ballast resistor on the back of the instrument panel by using an aftermarket "12-Volt square-can coil".

Even if you do that, I would still suggest using "Dell's Trick Current Limiting Resistor" of 1/2 Ohm @ 20 Watts.

well as I said before ..... yesterday I connected up the new ceramic resistor and now the tractor doesn't seem to stall ..... ....just sputters..... ...I'm wondering if its the coil fried or key switch or fuel starvation?
