I found some wheel weights for sale (30 miles away) that the seller claims came off of an 8N. He describes them as "section weights" that only work on 6 loop rims. I am familiar with the pie weights. Can somebody post a picture of the "section weight" or tell me if they will fit on an 8N ? Do you know of anyone selling them so I can determine what they cost new? Thanks, Tim

Those are pretty good weights. If they are like the ones in the photo make SURE you get the little wedges that hold them on. Mine weigh 225 lbs per side. They will fit on the old "top hat" style rims as well as the loop rims. They are one of the few weights that will work on most Fords from the 9N all the way up through the 3 cyl thousand series. I paid $100 plus a 250 mi. round trip to Iowa for mine. I wouldn't sell them now for twice that.
Good luck Jerry

Just to add to my other post, on my 9-N I have the axle weights, they add 300 pounds and do not get in the way of changing the tires. joe

I had these on a Ferguson TO-30. They should fit any tractor with the 28" six loop rims. Each of the 6 sections bolts to one of the six looop bolts. They fit inside the diameter of the rim, usually on the side closest to the tractor, although that depends on how you have wheels mounted. I think that the only problem that you might have is interference with the valve stem, and you won"t know until you try. Some after market rims have them in non-OEM locations. J2

Are they the 2 piece wights that are "C" shaped. If they are they should go on the inside of the rim but I have a set on the outside on my 640. They add about 300lbs total to the rear axal. Don't know about price I got mine from a 8N that was left for junk. I like them not bad to put on and off the outside of the rim.
