The price was right! I was looking at a Sauder Loader and asking questions as to how it hooked to the tractor at an estate sale last weekend. A fellow hearing me, offered one free...so I didn't bid and that one went for $30.00. Wish I'd taken my camera to get photos of the junk pile this came out of. Looks to me as if the ball at the rear goes into the receiver bracket under the swinging drawbar attachment and that the large lugs six feet forward of that rest on the front axle assembly. Isn't there anything bolted on anywhere? Do those pivot arms just stick up in the air?

This is a Type D Sauder Bros. Hydraulic Loader with trip bucket.

Thanks,

Paul

wish my model D was as complete..mine had been modified to fit an 800..parts were cut off. but it still works and I use it on my 8n..will not fit a 9N or 2N..it must have the receiver bracket that fits under the bottom of the tractor. the 8N original drawbar bracket fits under the sauder bracket..designed that way..
It also has a stand for it to sit on..finally found one and what a difference. trying to put the loader on with jacks and it sitting on logs..that just does not hack it..Seals are still available from a decendant company in New Holland, Pa. Good luck with the loader

Tom,

Who is the company in New Holland? I was told that the packings were still around, but it might be good to know the source.
