Trying to fit a Wagner WM4 front loader on a 2N (1942 I suspect) After discovering I would not have to cut the loader and weld it back together if I mounted the rear brackets on TOP of the rear axle things started to look better.

But up front is another matter.
The holes on the loader do not match anything on the tractor. I have no shaft for the pump, and the adapter fixture does not line up with any holes on the loader or the tractor. And of course I will need to replace the pully with the hand crank ratchet groves on it.

So according to another post, I remove the hood, drain coolant, and disconect radius arm and steering link on one side, then after removing 6 bolts on the front of the engine I can swing the front end of the tractor away far enough to replace the pulley. After I pick the engine up off the ground because I forgot to block it.

But, how do I remove the hood. I see the four bolts at the dash. Where else does it attach? And where do I get a new hood and grill? Mine is pretty sad. Also, looks like I remove radiator hoses. So I need new hoses, and the new crank pulley.

Oh and supporting the front of the loader. I am in the process of fabricating a fixture that bolts to the 6 bolts on the front of the engine and bolts to the loader. Can anybody tell me what it's supposed to look like

This izz a pix of a front loader mt. I have the draw'ins for it, their are different front mts for the loader so this'in may not werk. If you kin git a pixs fo the loader were it mounts to the front loader bracket that may help us figger out what you need. I have the parts needed to hook the pump up with (crank pulley, shaft, drive hub, etc.) You will have to drill sum holes on the front axle support to mount the front bracket, email open.

I have the manual for a Wagner WM3 loader. I am not sure that the models are similar enough for the pump brackets to be the same.
There is another forum on a different site that has many manuals for implements, including your Wagner WM4. I copied the link and pasted it below. It says it will open as a Word document, so you are prepared for that.
If you want any info from my manual let me know. It has detailed directions and diagrams on how to mount the pump.
There is at least one forum regular here that sells the pumps, shafts etc that are needed. Hopefully he will see your post and reply to it.

As to hood & grill replacements, they are available on this site. Just click the "Tractor Parts" link near the top of the left hand column. I would advise fixing up your old hood if possible as you will see replacements are pricey.
Good luck!
Carl
