Can anyone advise how to get a copy of this? I'm about to rebuild the carb on my '48 8N. It doesn't have the 'economizer jet', but I understand '118' tells how to modify/install this part. And yes, my tractor has 'the stumbles'. (That's what I was calling it before I discovered this website.) Thanks in advance.

I'm thinking you're looking for extra work on your carb rebuild that you don't really need to do. I probably have that bulletin on my CD but haven't seen it. I have 2 '48 8Ns with their original carbs and once the carb was rebuilt and adjusted along with standard tune up stuff they both run great. I'll try to find my CD and see if it's on there. If I find it I'll email it to you if you want.

Thanks Lee. I'll take your advice and do a standard rebuild with what I have. (If you do run across 118 I'd appreciate a copy. I'm one of those who can't stay out of trouble.)

I guess my question is "Has anyone actually seen Service Bulletin 118?".
