Is $2200 a fair price for a decent condition '45 2N with a Sherman hi/lo? Starts and runs fine, everything seems to work and the tin is in good shape.

If the tractor is in good clean condition and doesn't need any sort of major repair I think that is a reasonable deal.

Yeah you might get one for less if you bargain hunt, but this deal is ok, seller is not taking advantage of you by any means.

You can always start with a lower offer and work your way up, see if he bites.

I bought a '44 non-running, for $600. After I got it running (all it took was basic tune-up items) I sold it for $1500. No Sherman and it looked kinda ugly, but it ran and everything worked.

It sounds reasonable as long as it is ready to work, good tires, brakes, and no smoke.Make him an offer more to your opinion.

Seems steep to me , I bought a 43 2N running good, no Sherman hio/low but I paid $1400 for it. It depends on how bad oyu need it though. If I were thinking of paying 2200 for one I would take the time and really go through it first. Go to>Link
and>Link read up, this might help
Good luck
Gregg
