Have a happy upcoming 4th of July.. do not burn down the family farm with fireworks.

We got a real stupid county commissioners court down here in Johnson County Texas. We are super dry, burn ban in effect. BUT they are allowing fireworks!! It gets worst, the local volunteer fire department is selling fireworks!!!

Their motto should be, " We never lost a house foundation from fire !"

Now how stupid is that? Jeeze,

Here in NEPA it is so wet I can't get the burn pile to start.
In PA they have real fireworks factories but
PA residents can't enter.
You need an out of state driver's liscense.

Why U waanna take away everybody's fun?? I LOVE FRIEWORKS!! And they are AMERICAN TRADITION!! Amerika is one of the FEW COUNTRIES in the world where it is ILLEGAL to celebrate the Birth in the Traditional Fashion!! As it now stands..one has to go outta state to get the Good Stuff now!! Now, I ain't gonna burn down anybody's house! So why should I be deprived just because some IDIOT burned down his place?? This is COMMUNISM!! I beleive folks should be FREE!! After all, many lives were lost in many wars (Praise the veterans) to give us these freedoms!!
Any attempt to restrict fireworks, or make them illegal is playing into the hands of folks that don't wanna see us have fun!! I have NOTHING against folks that wanna restrict themselves, BUT when U try to restrict ME, I tend to get RILED UP!! FREEDOM FOREVER!! I'll BLOW UP STUFFS and enjoy it!! Otherwise the veterans' sacrifice is all in vain!! After all..the 4th is supposed to be a celebration of FREEDOM! Enjoy!! But DON'T try to restrict ME!! Nuff Sed!! CC.

No proble,. If I was dumb enought to waste money like that, I'd just take a few hundred dollar bills and stick a match to them. And yes I will continue to gather up the neighbors old spent sticks from the Roman candles and other junk and pitch it back on their property..

Hey Cargo Cult,, Neither you nor anyone else has a RIGHT to endanger other peoples property. You have the privilege to celebrate the Birth of Our Nation, NOT to endanger your neighbors. If you burn down the neighbors barn, does he have the RIGHT to sue you or Charge you with criminal negligence? Durn right he does..

Freedoms end just when your actions endanger someone else life or property...

I put the beer down awhile back! (Medical reasons, NOT^ chicken-sh*t religious reasons!) BUT, regarding the Fireworks issue, I beleive in them! Like I said..they are American tradition!! And Like Most Freedom-loving Folks, I detest Restrictions!! And I live in a far out area! The nearest neighbor is about 1/4 mile away, (and shoots off many fireworks on the 4th)! I have been letting off fireworks most of my life, and aside from a firecracker going off in my hand, no casualties!! And Once was enuff, hehehe! I also beleive in Burn Barrels! (saves many trips to the dump, and consequent scavenging of more projects, hehehe) Not like I in Inner City!! Please don't attempt to restrict me, and I won't restrict u! I have Nothing Against City Folks, as long as they go back to the city when the weekend is over, or at least attempt to fit in, instead of changing stuffs to conform to their former city! I am a crusty Old Fart, and respect other folks' rights, as long as they respect mine! About Barn Burning, If I did it, I should be liable! But I won't burn anybody's barn, OK?? Nuff sed!! Have A Happy Fourth.!! As ahappy as u can with out letting off fireworks, hehehe!! CC
