Cleaned gas tank, sediment bowl, all screens, & replaced the inline filter. Put in about 3 gal. of fresh gas, & tried to start it.. no go. removed the plug from the bottom of the carb..no gas. Blew back through the gas line & it's clear, sediment bowl fills up, but fuel won't flow through the line. What am I missing?

I just went through this with an 8-N. It had been sitting inside for a year, no gas, the problem was the float had rusted to the hinge pin.I have not put it back togather yet but I am sure it will run fine now.

My bets on the stuck float valve... though if the elbox screen is dirty.. it won't help..

Two things come to mind:

1> Carb inlet elbow filter screen clogged.
2> Float valve is sticking -- try tapping on the carb to loosen.
