Are any of you going to the I&I Historic Farm Day's Show this week?

If so, look me up.
I won't have my 8-N there, but will have my 28 Ford...should be pretty easy to spot in a sea of tractors...

Rob

Going to the Penfield show for the first time. I own a 40 9N and a 45 2N. Will there be people selling or swapin parts at this show? I'm looking for some hard to find parts for both of my tractors. Also I'll only be going for a day, which day would be the best? Thanks Looking forward to seeing many Fords!!

I was there all day today unloading used parts in the vendor area. There are several guys with used parts available but the hard to find stuff goes first and fast. As for which day, Saturday is always the biggest day for exibitors and visitors. Don't wait for Sunday - lots of folks have gone to shows for a nice Sunday afternoon only to be disappointed. Most people come from long distances to display their tractors and a big part of them have jobs to return to on Monday. A large number of exibitors normally load up to leave Saturday night and by noon Sunday about 50 percent or more have already headed home.

I'm looking for a generator belt tensioning assembly for my 2N. My 9N has one that the bracket is secured by 2 head bolts. A bracket goes around the gererator, and a spring and bolt assemly hold tension on the belt. Also looking for a set of original front lug nuts for large pilot hole 19 inch rims?

I saw 2 of those generator bracket assemblies today. Look me up and I'll point you in the right direction.

Hey Robert-
We leave Friday morning for Penfield. I'll have my 1948 8N and a Dearborn Implement (still don't know which one I'll take!) there too. Look forward to meeting all of the guys I've been talking to on the Internet and seeing some old friends again. Let's hope the weather cooperates.
