A week or two ago I posted a link on this forum that went to a site that had some pictures of a semi nude woman posing on an old tractor. I guess I wasn't thinking that this was a family forum. I realize now that it was a rather innapropriate thing to do.
Since then I've been banned from posting here. They've blocked my entire dns so that my neighbor who also uses the same server can't post either.
Twice I emailed to Kim the moderator and apologized for my stupidity but haven't recieved any response from her.
I'd like to participate on this page. And I promise not to post anything like that again.
What do I have to do to get unbanned? I don't mind taking my lumps, and will accept some length of blockage. It would just be nice to find out how long I will be blocked.
I do apologise to this group.
Meanwhile I'd appreciate some kind of answer.

Some of us view this board with company owned equipment. Because this board does not cater to what can be considered "on the edge", my boss allows this. Your posting could have gotten me fired. Now I don't know whether or not to check a post (unless I recognize the name like from Zane or Dave 1.) I am no prude, its just that one must be very careful if company equipment is involved.

Pariah, I served a sentence in the YT board prison, it was about 60 days a I recall. I was "freed" after letting it rest for awhile and then sending a sincere apology. My crime was posting a fully clothed but seductively posed celbrity sitting on an 8N and suggesting the celebrity was endorsing "repair gel". (Fellow Ner's, I am sorry about my lapse in judgement)

Your crime sounds a bit more onerous, So your sentence could be awhile. Whlie doing time, I was able to view the board, just couldn't post, so I kinda looked at it like work release. I now self-censor everything I do here and try to leave the humor to those who are good at it and have better sense. Don't want to get tossed again. This board is a privelege, not a right. If'n your mama and your wife don't approve of it, It probably won't sit too well here either. :>)

After some of the trash I've seen on the pulling board the stuff you guys are describing doesn't seem to be any worse - and you can set your watch with the schedule they go at each other and its quite often not fit for family reading.

I don�t think you should have been banned; a warning from Kim should have sufficed for a first offence. Some of the others on here that purposely try to run people off and do unpaid commercials should get a warning to. My 3 cents.

If the tractor in your photo was 'fully clothed' and her (the tractor's) sheet metal was in good shape, I don't see a problem. Now, if you post a picture of a Blue NAA, or an 8N with an NAA hood, we might have a problem...

Will I guess I fit into that category. My purposes are not to run people off, but to create humor when it's needed. Humor to me may not be classified as humor to others. Some fellers weren't born with a sense of humor which is bad. I don't think this board is a "Sir, yes Sir" type of board. I've been on this board since 1997 and I've always gotten away with my so called bg graphics without warnings from Kim. In fact, she thinks I am a great contributer. I paid my $8 so I'm staying.

If Coors paid a fee every time they got a free ad on here you wouldnt have to ever pay again. The ones who have run people off and probably have a list of the next in line know who I am talking about. When I first came to this board it was a friendly help board and now everybody puts up a disclaimer(I have nothing to do with this or off subject) if they want to show you'll something or need help with something other than tractors. So if there is banning for a period then whom ever wrote these should be in line;;nEXT tIME pOST tHOSE pICTURES oN tHE cOCKSHUTT bOARD and peanut butter for brains because you know whats implyed by these. My 3 cents.

I personally wasn't offended although this board is not the place for them pics. In my 47 years I've seen alot worse. Now I do believe their is nothing prettier than a Tractor or a locomotive unless there is a woman at the controls (dressed of course). I hope that they will let you back in. It can serve as a lesson for everyone.

I was one of the ones that emailed Kim to have your post removed. It was not done because I was offended but because the purpose of this board was violated. There lots of sites where you can go and view and discuss whatever you wish. But when you are here on the N-Board you either discuss tractors or something closely related; and that's the way we like. We do not want this board to be abused and appreciate Kim's close monitoring and quick action.
I do not know when Kim will allow you to post on the board but I accept your apology and ask that she consider allowing you to post in the future.

Good to own up, but that really offended a lot of folks.

But I think once you've done something 'not so bright' and you understand it, you can be a better person.

I am reminded of the prodigal son that was welcomed back to the family. We need to be forgiving of people...(7*70). If you are sincere, and I think you are, I would let you back.
