Sometime ago, there was a post.
The post contained the names given to styles of roof trusses. For the life of me, I cannot find that post anywheres, anymore.

I have an important meeting in about 2 weeks with a potential new account.

I know if I like the building's truss work, I should know the NAME associated with its (the truss) style.

If I don't like the "truss-work" I will simply say, I am too busy with old accounts already to take on any new business. I will avoid the NAME.

I have never seen a stronger truss-work than the "honeycomb" design associated with nature.

Lightweight, strong, durable, and above all tasty.

This new contact is in RHODE ISLAND.

Bottom Line..... does anybody know of that web site that shows roof trusses, and the NAMEs associated with same?

Any considerations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, John,PA

I've been in the roof truss business for 20+ years, so I think I can address your question well.

My suggestion would be to completely forget about trying to use names for web patterns in trusses. The reason is that the names vary a great deal from one place to another. So using names can be very confusing.

If you must discuss web pattterns, make a sketch. As someone once told me - "Say it in writing".

What do you do that web patterns would make any difference to you?

I would VERY MUCH like to address your question, however, due to modern robotic technology, I must keep further info. confidential. If the meeting goes good, it would have been the local 18th century craftsman's FAMILY, probably a revolutionary war "boat wright". Has to do wit MARINE REFRIGERATION, 21`st century. Thanks though for your reply. John,PA
