After hearing about Kelly Jewell's stroke on the "Other" N board and seeing over 40 people over there wishing him a speedy recovery and then seeing the same post over here and seeing only 4 or 5 nice people wish him well makes me sick, What are we doing here guys???, people are getting flamed here left and right, people are leaving here in droves !

Are we that cold over here??? I at least thought I would have seen some of the "Big names" here at our board give get well soon wishes to the Jewells !

I saw a post that just said "Kelly Jewell". I usually don"t reply to posts aimed at just one person in particular as it is usually a personal nature.

I, like alot of the rest have not heard about jewel, I wish him the best and a speedy recovery, our prayers will be with him,

but like the rest of the people just the name on a post lead us to think it was a question directly to him,,

also the title of this one isnt much better, it still doesnt tell anyone that one of our own are needing prayers and support just my 2 cents, good luck jewel god bless

I do hope this person is doing well, and he will be in our thoughts here. I am not sure who he is or where he is from. I also don"t understand the part about the "Big Names" here. Now, how about an update on him and his condition, I doubt anyone here means any disrespect toward a man in his time of need, be it for thoughts and prayers or mechanical advice. Just my 2 cents worth.

I also didn't read the post; thought it was personally directed to him and not about him. My heartfelt best wishes go out to him for a speedy recovery and to his family. He has helped me out on several occasions and is one of the reasons why I frequent this board. Again, here's to a complete and speedy recovery.

I also didn't read the post titled "Kelly Jewell" because I thought it was a personal posting directed to him.

I do hope his stroke was mild and he has a speedy and full recovery.

sorry guy,today is the first time I have heard the guy with the stroke.My best wishes for him,and his family,and a speedy recovery.I am now 53,and when I was 3yrs old I suffered a stroke,my parets were very supportive,I had paralysis on the right side of my body.They treated me as if nothing was wrong,I went to public school.When I graduated Igot several different jobs,until I landed my career as a machinist,been doing that for 26yrs.So don't give up there's always tomorrow.God bless you,cw

Sorry to hear about Kelly. I wouldnt say we are cold, simply didnt read the previous posts. The post simply titled kelly jewell ,lead me to believe it was probably a question for him only . Hope he is well soon.
