I have been looking for a bumper for my 2N. I see prices anywhere from $65.00 to $165.00 on the internet. Can anyone shed some light as the big difference in prices? I would expect a little difference in price but these all claim to be new.

Thanks,

Here's is one i made. It was easy to do. I used 3/8 x x2 inch flat stock a metal bender and a welder. Some people on the site will complain about it not being "original" but its reall strong and looks good to me. I have since welded a tow tounge onto it to move my trailer around.

There are repops like original, with rivits.... generally the most spendy.. there are repops that are solid.. but not exactly like original, and welded.. these usually go for 75-99$ and there are lighter duty ones like and not like the original, in appearance.. usually cheapest.

I picked up a nice light duty one for my 660 for 55$. it's not as heavy as oem.. but will keep the brush of fmy tractor, and looked nice..

TSC sells the welded repops.. good and sturdy..

Biggest visual difference between the original style, more expensive, bumpers is the offset side pieces. This was not just a style thing. The offset was there so the bumper did not block access to the hole where the hand crank goes. This may be a minor detail to you, unless you actually have a hand crank, and needed to use it.

I'll bet that took some big tooling to make the bend in that metal..
