I measured as best I could and I come up with
1 15/16". If this is not right, let me know. I going out to buy a socket and the longest cheater bar I can find.

I got my socket and breaker bar at Sears for about $70.00 for both. I then purchased a piece of chain link fench post for the cheater bar. It was only a couple of bucks and was about 5' long.

Ray, mine is an even 2". I don't have a 1 15/16" socket in my set, and I used a 3/4" drive 2" socket. You can use a piece of pipe over the handle of your breaker bar to increase your leverage. I've even used the handle on my hydraulic floor jack in a pinch (probably why it has a slight bend in it now....LOL). Let some penetrating oil soak into it for a couple of days before breaking and it might help some.

Good luck with it..... ..Ed

I believe it is the same size as on my Jubilee and that takes a 2" socket. I have one on a 3/4" pull handle. I then put a 3' piece of pipe on that. I weigh 250 so I figured by putting some weight on it, I got pretty close to the 450 ft.lbs. it calls for. I did buy some new locking springs to install once I got it where it needed to be.
