Old, Were you bush hogging when you had that problem?

I have fixed many four speed Ford transmissions and nearly all of them were broken when bush hogging in second gear. Second gear is the Achelies heel of the four speed transmssion. Very weak thing gear.

No, I had just hooked my six foot flail mower up. I had not yet engaged the PTO. Was shifting from 1st to 2nd. I looked at it tonight and opened a Miller, started to read manual. Decided that was enough for a Wednesday. joe
