how the heck do you get the new bushings into the oil pump and new bushings into the rods?
any clues would be helpfull

You can get them installed with a hammer and drift etc but you got to have a way to hone them to fit. They are not/never made to fit out of the box.

Unless you are experienced, and have the equipment to install them and finish them, have an automotive machine shop do it, as they need to be pressed in, and then honed to the proper size.

Do you still have such an establishment in your area?
