I was at the Baraboo show over the weekend and I found these spring loaded brackets on both sides of the hood of a 2 or 9N. What are they?

Personally, I would use them to hold my beer when I mow, but I would mosy likely get a face full of foam. Any ideas on this?

I need one of those, it is a "walking cane holder". I can't believe nobody knew what that is, just 'cause you use a cane don't mean you can't drive a tractor. I usually have to hang mine on the work light and am afraid it will fall off then.

Paul-they gotta be for holding "fix-it" instructions that were printed off this website. The clippy brackets help to keep the info free of grease and oil while you work on your "N" or drink your beer!----How many N's were at the Baraboo show? I thought they were featuring another tractor this year. ---Tim (WI)

third party image

There were a handfull of N's there, including a couple of nice Funk conversions. This year's theme was "made in Wisconsin".

I posted some pics;
