Don't run it any at all if it has no oil pressure.

The valves aren't going to tell you anything about oil pressure in the N engine since it does not have hydraulic lifters. Solid lifters for the N engine.

Take the drain plug out of the pan and see if the pick up tube is loose from the pump. If you can wiggle it that is going to be the problem.

Sorry about the e-mail that I transmitted your way the other nite. JUST HAD ENOUGH.

Now they have moved me to the lower "CELL". Well, it will be a lot warmer over the winter. Judge said "still community service". All I have to do is to make sure the igniters keep working on the boiler. Plus, minimum wages and "full time, PART TIME work. Between the hours of 11PM to 7AM ET. Thanks ZANE, just for listening.

John D.

The coldest time of day is always 7AM ET. The warmest is 7PM ET. Mostly.

Drain the oil and then reach up and see if you can move the oil pickup. If it moves then your problem is the oil pickup tube has come loose and will need fixed and or replaced. Common problem
