My 8N has a TSX 33 carb on it. I think it is suppose to have a TSX 241 series carb. What is the basic differences between the two series. Cost? Better performance? Fuel consumption? Easier serviced? More reliable? Why did Ford change? I need to decide whether to fix the 33 or move on to a 241 series. How are all of the reproductions which are on the market? From what I can see, they are copies of the 241 series? Thanks for any insight.

Thanks for the comeback. Have to check the cost of the rebuild of the 33 and then decide which way to go.

Pop,
I even noticed the carb they sell on this website claims to outperform original. I wonder how? More CFM? Better float valve?
