i had the diagrams emailed to me at one time. I thought i had saved them but don"t have them. The post that everyone refers to has no pictures, i need a picture that i can trace on to the aluminum/steel. I made a set but they were too thin and bent to crap.

Help please, thanks in advance.

Ryan,

I've posted this here and elsewhere in the past. Some have thought it a good idea (not mine though) and keeps you from having to make the parts.

By bolting the chains to the mower you can easily slip the chains into the hook at the desired height.

I printed off the drawings and instructions. If you like, I can scan them and email to you...

Having said that, I don't have the parts and tools to build them (or the expertise:-) so I ended up buying the set on this web site ($25 + $9 shipping. Cheap!) They work great.

They are listed under "accessories" as "Mower Deck Height Stabilizer Kit," P/N MHSK1.

Let me know if you still want the drawings...

Joe

A picture and instructions are on the "other forum" in the How to's. Id make the metal plate 4 1/4 long instead of 3 1/4 long to have more room for the 7/8 inch holes and notch.

Other forum as in "other network" - not on this site. Do a google search for "tractor club", should be the 3rd hit down from the top. Can't post the link here - banned!
