Sent a moeny order three plus weeks ago to a guy who sold tractor parts. he said they were boxed and ready to go three weeks ago.

No parts yet, and he refuses to answer e-mails.

the fella lives in Pike, New York.

Anyone work with a parts guy in Pike, New York and have had good or bad experience?

I don't want to provide the name until I know for sure that i've been scammed or not.

I should have included this link in my email to you. If you do not get satisfaction within next week I would check if to MO was cashed. Then hit him from the State and Federal levil. I wonder if he has been collecting sales tax?

if it was a postal moneyorder(bought at postoffice)you can sic the post office on him.you will either get your parts or your money back.we pay for them(post office),might as well use them to our advantage.go to post office and put trace on it.i use money orders all the time, and have had to trace a couple.got my stuff 1st time and money last time.you know how much trouble govt. is to deal with.sic em on him.(might take some time, but it works).

I done some business with a guy in NY that was supposed to have a lot of Allis Chalmers parts. Needed a steel piston for a CA model. He said he had one. Well after about 4 months and many e-mails later I finally received the wrong piston.
Really ticks me off. people say they have certian parts, you send money, then get wrong stuff. This man advertises in the classifieds at YT.

I live only 30 to 40 miles from Pike. I have not heard of anyone selling N parts in Pike. I also have a couple of friends over there. There is a guy in Cuba, NY. not far from Pike that I have bought parts and eqipment from and he is good to do buisness with. He has 3 barns full of parts. He also has a couple of Ns with less than 500 hours on them. If I knew who you were talking about I might take a ride tomorrow and look him up. If the wife hasent made other plans.
