TSX-33 Main Jet or Economizer?

I"ve read through the archives quite a few times and am finding myself confused about the jets in my TSX-33 carb. Here"s what I think I"ve learned from the archives:

Idle jet (#10-32 x 0.024 i.d.)
Economizer jet (#8-32 x 0.047 i.d.)
Main jet (#8-32 x 0.078 i.d.)

I know there has been discussion on the board regarding if the idle or main jet is the bigger #10. I know it"s the idle jet because I"ve been staring at it for two days now.

The idle jet is in place in the upper housing where it belongs. My confusion is about the main versus economizer jets. In my carb the jet with the 0.078 i.d. is in the economizer hole (in the upper housing off to the side of the idle jet) and the 0.047 i.d. is in the main jet hole (lower housing under the nozzle). Even though they have the same thread they are not interchangeable because the jet that fits into the main jet hole has a head on it that will not allow it to fit into the economizer hole.

What right and what"s wrong? I"m really confused.

Not hard to get confused on Ford N carb jets. Originally there were 6-7 TSX models for them but all were superceded by the TSX-241B and many versions were rebuilt to 241B standards. The earlier as like TSX-33 had very small econo jets and were not very successful so larger jets superceded them. NH which cares little about old Fords and they simply list the main as #55 drill, its way too large for an 9/2/8N (about right for a 172ci) and it looks like you have that larger jet also your idle is the smaller obsoleted size. After market sources sell about any combination of ID"s so how is one to know? I can only say what I choose to use and that is:
Main=.047
Econo=.049
Idle=.032
Slight variances won"t make any difference and you may find new jets vary widely but stick to these approx"s.
