My father put his 8N (with a set of gang mowers on the back) in the brook yesterday. The mowers were all the way in the brook where the bank was about 2' high, he also had the right wheel in the brook too...bank was still 2' there. His 8N was pretty much rocking on it's belly.

When I saw this...and not my father...I thought "Oh @*#$", he was no where to be found...turned up in the house watching the horse race.

I got out my 8N and hooked a chain onto his front bumper to my drawbar, we put them both in 1st gear and I was amazed at how it walked right up the bank which is a straight drop without any slope on it. Everything checked out fine. Very impressed that it pulled out so easy.

...and for those of you who read my post a week or so ago...yes, this was my 8N that he 'sold' on me...Glad we were able to keep the ol' 8N to pull his 8N out.
