Split the 53 NAA to fix clutch. Got new parts(first). Found out there are two pilot bearings. One a real ball bearing the other is a bushing. I bought the common one , need the uncommon one.

Yep.. besides the nose emblem, the bushing bearing issue is one of the very few differences inthe early 53 and the later units. Sn location is also different.. etc.

Thats why I buy parts after I open one up. You never know what may or may not be there and what may or may not be good or bad. Easier to get the parts after you know whats there then before you know what is there. Also you never know what has been done to one and that makes a differance.
