I have seen previous posts that corn head grease works well for dealing with steering box leaks. I"d like to try this on my 2N. How do I drain any remaining oil and refill with the corn head grease? There doesn"t seem to be any drain or filler holes.

Thanks!
Slez

Just a follow up question...
Is the Packing, part #9N3670, that is available on this site what I need to fix the leak?
Thanks again!

Dissappointing indeed! I was looking for the easy fix. I guess it's time to split the steering box.

Sleezy..... ....unfortunately, the 2N/9N steering gearbox is "splash-lubed" by the tranny front bearing oil-slinger with hydro-tranny oil.

You CAN-NOT use sticky cornhead oil with the 2n/9N steering gears. Understand?..... ...Dell
