Just taking a shot in the dark, posting on the N board, but here goes.
We pulled this 1/4 inch line out of the rear sump of our ford 4000 (pre 1968) Does anyone recognize this as an actual hydraulic part, or as I suspect a hook someone made and dropped into the rear? Thanx Ron

If it was a little bigger in diameter I would say it's a close match to the return hydraulic line for the 3pt. Looks similar to the one in my 3000. It may have broken off at some point and was too hard to get at to pull it out. Just a guess though.
