Why is it that my 8n quits after running for a short time?, Carb need rebuilding?

i suspect a clogged or restricted fuel line

Lot more info need to answer your question. Front or side mount? when it dies doe it have spark?? If it has spark is it a brite blue or a yellow looking spark?? Do you have a good gas flow out of the drain plug on the bottom of the carb??

Lipe..... ...ya don't give us much to guess on do you? Define "running for short time." 10yr ago, one of the founding members of this great N-Board, insisted 80% of all carburator problems were found in the ignition system. Me? I'd guess weaksister ignition switch. $10 (cheap)..... .respectfully, Dell
