Howdy Y'all! Hey I have a 1952 8N and when you fast throttle it , it puffs out black smoke. Is this the carb or something else? It has 50lbs oil pressure cold and 30 warmed up. Y'all are the experts, please help!
Thanks to all!

Turn your carb needle adjustment in all the way then back it out ONE FULL TURN, sometimes you have to go a turn and a half

Black smoke is an indication of too rich fuel/air ratio, too much fuel or not enough air. Carburetor needs an adjustment, most likely.

Its common for one to do that if you open it up fast. If your worried about it tunr your main jet adjustment in just a little becuase your carb maybe set a little on the rich side.
