Ha! I got another chance to be on the YT for just long enough to quick-scan the last 3 pages, and I have to say "THANK YOU" to Ron,ar and John for getting that bowl vent position clarified. I, for one, went blankin' NUTS trying to figure out where everything was, and that was one of the worst. I mean, seeing it in a diagram and then understanding where the thing actually runs through the cast iron and comes out just isn't all that easy, and I think the carb is about the hardest one to figure out in that regard. I see there was much discussion about it in response to both of their posts, and that there are photos posted too, so I'm really looking forward to sitting down with it all once I get my computer back. But meanwhile, WAY TO GO YOU GUYS!!!! Thank you for nailing this problem down! (And thanks to Rustbucket Dan and GregKY who helped make it so I didn't have to figure out the bowl vent as part of rebuilding the carb. And Old -- I think I found your main jet in the shop? Is there one in the little envelope of parts in the box I sent back to you, on the practice carb? If not, let me know so I can mail it. It, uh, might be something else. Uh, Dan, was the main jet in Arthur's carb when you got it?)

Dawn

All jets were in place on your carb when I got it.
