I ASSUME the threaded adapter the petcock screws into got knocked off of the radiator. Soldering it back on is the only fix that will last. Probably best to remove the radiator, so the surface the adapter solders to is flat. Clean the mounting area on the radiator and the little adapter with a wire brush, then coat the solder area surfaces with "tinning" paste flux for use with acid core solder. Get some 50/50 acid core solder. Then, CAREFULLY heat the adapter and as small an area as possible of the radiator with a propane torch with a small tip, until the solder flows smoothly around the fitting. Allow it to cool, then scrub the acid flux residue off, to prevent corrosion. If there is a chance of the petcock getting knocked off again, you could get a brass plug, and install that instead, using some sealant, and not overtightening the plug, so as not to tear the adapter off again!
