I am here to testify that the 2N is one great utility tractor for my needs. Mine is a '46, painted like a "Red Belly";

i like it that way. It has the Sherman step-up,and someother upgrades. It runs like a champ and carrirs 40# oil pressure hot. I have it shown on tractor photos on this website hooked to a load of fire wood. This has been one of its main jobs for many years. Good luck with your fine tractor. Remember: "FORD POWER"!! lol..

that 2 N almost makes me get water in my eyes. I grew up on a 2N that was painted like a red belly that my dad bought when I was in the 6th grade - and I am drawing social security now lol.

As families fall out, I lost the 2 N to a person that was closer to home and did the deal.

Anyway, I now have an 8N to help me commerate the great ole 2 N with the hi low Sherman Box.
