Randy, The answer to your question has a lot to do with depends, not the diaper type but the figuring type. The value depends upon the reason for not runnin'; out of gas, dead battery, mouse chewed wires, or piston rings rusted to the cylinder walls and frozen up solid. The value depends upon your definition of really low serial number; single digits, double digits, triple digits, and so forth. The value depends upon condition; rustbucket, fair, good, excellent, like new, or mint condition. The value depends upon how much money you have in your pocket that you are willing to part with and how much money the seller wants to see in his wallet. As far as aluminum hood and low serial number goes, if the serial number of the tractor is consistent with the early 9N's that came with aluminum hoods and doglegs, then you have a real collector's item and much of what I have stated above is kind of thrown out the window. The value will be whatever the group of individuals who really want an early 9N are willing to run the price up to. I realize that this is not very specific as to a dollar amount, but then again, that all depends on a lot of things. Hope this helps. Jerry
