Please Help! I own a 1953 Golden Jubilee. Recently, my tractor's motor starts to die when i make a left turn. It only does this after the motor warms up real good. I'm at a loss. Can anyone tell me what the problem is. Thanks, Rusty

I own an NAA and I have had similar 'issues'. If you keep the tractor still, and turn the wheel hard left, will it run? If not, look for spark. If no spark, follow the coil primary wire all the way to the ignition (key) switch, and from the ignition switch to the solenoid and battery. Try jumping a wire from the hot side of the battery direct to the coil hot side, and see if she starts. (That's called 'Hot Wiring') But if you do have a spark, the probelm could be with some other system. Remember: 90% of carb problems are electrical with these old Fords.

Then just turn right (grin) could sum thing in your steering system be rubbing your coil wire or spark plug wire just a thought or the spark plug wire be grounding out

My guess is if it just sputters check the float.
If it is a real hard jerk jerk jerk, check the primary to the coil.
Just a gut feel thing.
