Sad story to tell. about 3 years ago I saw a 8n in a guys shop about 10 miles out of winnemucca NV
I ask about it and the guy said he rebuilt the motor for a fellow and had been waiting 2 years to here from the guy that owned it. I gave him my number and a firm offer as well as tried to track down the owner. He did not have any of the sheet metal (the owner had it). He had to pull it out of his garage and let it sit outside because he needed the space. It had vertical exhaust so he let me cover that up and we covered the rest of up and put it outside. I left a check with a friend who lived nearby and went back to oregon. My friend called me this year and the poor guy died of cancer and his crack head Daughter (so I am told)loaded in on a flatbed of scrap and took it to the scrap dealer and got $22.00 for the whole load. LIke I said sad story. I just had to vent. Thanks for listening. I completed my 51' and was looking for another project.

I sure hurts to see something that you can put some value on be lost that way. PAINFUL indeed. I feel for you too. Hope you get another find equally desirable.

I bet the scrapyard operator saw what it was and put it off to the side. The ones I know around here will pay the yard scrap price on what they want to keep. Hope so anyway..

I am lowering my real Georgia State Flag that our wonderful re-elected governor promised to fix back if he was elected last time.

Another lying politician.

And they let the liar back in.

Anyhow we will fly the real flag at half mast.

This is a tragedy!!!

We still have our flag intact so far, but with the changing of the guard, no telling what will happen.
The blue star above the word "ARKANSAS" is to commemorate the Confederate States of America.
