Hydraulic lift shaft lubrication

I am in the middle of overhauling my hydraulic system and was curious about the hydraulic lift shaft and its bushings. Since there aren't any grease fittings to lubricate/grease up the shaft-to-bushing fit, what is the best way to handle this area? Should I simply apply a layer of grease prior to putting everything back together, or should I leave everything alone and figure that some "splash" lubrication will occur from the hydraulic fluid sloshing around inside? I couldn't really find anything in the Archives that addresses this.

If those bushings in there are the same as on the 00 series they are oil impregnated. I did put grease on mine though.

I applied grease all over mine when I had it apart.
