i havent been on this site for almost a year, its good to be back and see that there is still a few of the old timers still on line helping those of us less fortunate in the mechanic skills. dell you dont know how many times you helped me out reading your responses. all of you have made owning a tractor a great hobby and in my case both a hobby and a working tractor. i have a 1940 9n. i have been keeping it in shape, doing the needed maintenence and so on . i do tend to baby it, but i also blade my dirt driveway and snow as well. i also have a landscaping rake, a lift boom, and a carrier for the 3pt that i built a box to haul wood with. also have wood tongs to skid logs out of the woods, they work well with wire rope and a pulley or two to work the logs out of tight spots or to get them to go where the tractor wont fit. they are great tractors , something i am proud to own, ab jahnke

to lonestarjeff , im not quite set up for sending pictures yet, but i'll do you one better. here is their e-mail address the N in Northern is a capital and the T in tool is capital. the address is NorthernTool.com, they are reputalble and have quality stuff, it just depends on how much you want to spend. like the wood-skid tongs , you bend or break them unless you had a couple of semi-trucks pulling them apart. they have prices to fit any budget. check the logging department. you have to be carefull when skidding logs , if they dig into the dirt or hit a tree they can tip a tractor backwards before you know what hit you, very dangerous. i use the tongs for big short stumps, some things i cant get a steel rope to stay on. jeff have fun , if i can ill get some help from my wife and learn how to send photos. i am semi computer illiterate and that is just enough to be dangerous. nice chatting

i may have made a mistake jeff on the e-mail address for northern tool , if using capital letters on norther and tool dont work , just try all small letters. i just sent what was on the front cover. but it did not work. later
