I noticed a few post about tisco parts. Tisco has several lines of parts. You can get the more expensive high quality parts disributed by Tisco. But most folk (myself included) are more than happy to try and pinch a penny and go for the cheaper parts; which work great in most cases. And your wife will not be as mad when she sees the money your spending. So there is a choice. You can buy $2.00 points or $10.00 points. I tried both and it doesn't seem to make a difference on the tractor. You can tell the more exspnesive one is heavier construction when looking at it.

I have found that some are terrible and some are good quality. Also I have seen many items not cataloged properly. I guess it would be worse yet if there were no parts available at all.

If you buy one of their distributors you better check it out good bedore you leave the store and be sure the shaft is not out of alignment so bad it won't turn except with pliers or the advance weights might be dragging in the case like my second one was or the third the clips were so out of whack the dist. cap fell off..Obviously poor quality control, if any..I wi;; do my best to avoid Tisco stuff.
