Yep, I'm old and slow, and time deprived.
But....
I finally found 3/4 fine thread castle nuts, washers, and cotter pins, to fit the new lower lift pins that I had bought, 30 miles away from me in a parts store that has been there for many years. If you will recall the ones I had removed were 5/8, on what appeared to be a MF pin.

In my original post I had questioned how to hold the trumpet while I put the 150+ ft lbs torque recommended on the castle nuts. Welp, I found a way.

My scrape blade was more than happy to assist, the angle adjustment holes were spaced properly to accept the fender mount bolts to provide a substantial "stand", I also applied Loctite medium to the pins before installing.

Now I am well on my way back.

LMBO!!

I had to quit workin' for a living years ago, and git me a desk job due to my pore ole wore out back.

That does enter into a lot of what I do and how I do it.

Getting in the floor ain't a good plan for me.

Removing and replacing a hydro pump just about assures me 3 days bed rest on muscle relaxers and a heating pad.
