Every time I've asked about a particular part, someone has responded with the name of the part as well as the part number. So my question is this: Do y'all use the manual sold on this site, with the Part# "FO-9N2N8N-PT" If not.. which one should I get? One with pictures wouldn't hurt nuthin'... cuz the guy at the tractor place gets all stupid on me when I ask him for a "thingamajig" or a "watchamacallit"! (grin)

Thanx, Dawn! THAT'S the one I would need! I have the I&T FO-4 shop manual, that I got off eBay, & it only has 39 pages.. & no pictures OR part numbers.

Here's a link to their website, then. :-) I think the manual was just called "8N parts" or something on their order form, but I emailed them and told them what I wanted, and they told me the order number for it. (I would give it to you except it was on the computer hard drive that went belly-up last month. :-( I think it cost about $50 or a little less (like $48). I'm not sure because I put it on my Christmas list last year after I got the info, and my brothers got together to get it for me. :-)

Poot-
Hope you didn't pay more than 30 bucks for that FO-4 on ebay.
The FO-4 manual I have has 152 pages with really nice isometric exploded views and part callouts.

Anyway, sounds like Dawns catalog is the one to get.

Take care,
Chad

The FO-4 Ford shop manual I got from TSC has exploded views of parts & numbers for 2N, 9N & 8N's.

HTH,
