Dan Hill....the alum. head is supposed to boost the compression up to 7.5.I would expect to see about as much improvement with this as those guys are seeing with the dual exhaust. grin don b

After you have blown 4 or 500.00 you will imagine much improvement.I expect the head and the dual exhaust and an electronic ignition would make the 9n pull an 8 bottom plow.Wish I could snare some of this type of customer.P T Barnum was right.

Everybody but me. Don knows exactly what I am talking about - and it would not be right to air it out on a public forum...

Dan.....when we were discussing you buying the head,I told you Derek may sell it for 300.00,which in my opinion would be a fair price.Derek said no,and that's what I told you.Bill says he will pay 500.00 for one,I ask Derek,he says yes.500.00 is a lot more than 300.00,so I guess he has a right to change his mind for the extra 200.00.As far as I know,Bill never called, and the head is still here.Derek or me either one, sure didn't have the gonads to ask you or anyone else, 500.00 for it,but Bill made the statement on the board, and I replied.Sorry for any hard feelings on our part. don b

Since you aired it out here (even though on the 3rd page) I guess I will respond.

You did not tell me you "thought" Derek would sell it for $300 - you did not even tell me initially it was Derek's. What you said, was you had one you picked up and would sell to me for $300. You ALSO said I would be the only person you would sell it to. I told you I would try to get the money and did indeed call you back within the week to tell you I wanted it. It was at that time you told me it was Derek's, and he did not want to sell. I was not happy at the time if you remember.

Fast forward to this thread - a guy come on the board asking for one (albeit at a crazy high price) and you respond that you have one for sale. That is just not right. This is about INTGRITY - not money. You don't tell someone you will make a deal, then back out of your agreement, then make a deal with someone else. I don't feel you should sell out your integrity for $200 - you are much better than that I know.

I too am sorry for the hard feelings this issue has caused.

Dan
