Worst winter ever in reply to GB in MT., 12-29-2006 12:50:00
This is the worst winter I can remember. We usually have snow this time of year in WI but we have nothing but rain, fog and warm weather. Where do I have to move to get some snow....Alaska? Damn global warming!!! :-(

I know quite a few Aleut and Inuit people in Alaska, and it's much warmer there now, too. In fact, in many places they are also not getting snow now yet, and in many others the ice isn't freezing over except for a very short time in maybe January. It's very, very bad there - worse, even, than in the "lower 48" in terms of the amount of change over the last 10 years. --Dawn

I know what ya mean! Our fist snow this year was Oct. 29th. Then it rained for 4 days and turned everything to ice. Thats why I keep the upper drive plowed when I get 4 to 5" of snow. If it rains, then freezes, I'm in trouble when spring thaw comes. Oh well, Seat time is fun, no matter what it's for!!! GB
