Any firsthand experiance with China made radiators for Fords? I am needing one for My 53 NAA. I recieved a gift card from TSC. This would be a way to use it, however I have been warned they clog up easy and tend to not cool well. Thanks Joe

I got a radiator from Just 8 Ns and it fit pretty good and has held up well.

This subject definetly interests me as my N is bleeding antifreeze on my shop floor as we speak. The radiator has been repaired a couple of times in 50 odd years so it's time for a new one. Which radiator is the best, not the cheapest but the best as I only want to buy one. Is the one they sell on this site a good radiator?

I got one from Northern Factory Sales for my 8N.
It's part number is CR9555.
It wasn't cheap but it fit.

For the NAA model, their part number is CR9556.

Experience fitting problems with those made in China and India namely the lower hose area and the overflow tube.

The rads made in Ireland are the better ones, they should be listed as European made.

Many of the replacement radiators being sold today are almost useless. I had one of the made in China replacements and it never did fit right.

I had to put two rubber pads under each side and modify the mounting holes to get it to fit and it still wasn't right.

I can't speak first hand to the Chinese radiator question, except to say I've heard the same thing. But, if you need some ideas for the TSC gift card, I just used mine today for a "Mr Buddy" portable propane heater. $69. No more kerosine, wicks or odor for me!
