From all reports it hurts bad to run GL-5, eats up my brass or something. My tractor actually works like expected to on GL-5, I have GL-1 in her now. I plan to change that fact. GL-1 is ok in the hottest part of summer, (in my tractor). I just wish one of these great minds could tell me what is up with that. But I do have a couple of tests, and adjustments I have to make before I question that. I have learned a WEALTH of information on this board about lift adjustment over the past months (I have had all that stuff off and cleaned it 2 times in the past 20 years). I know where to put my fanger on the instructions agin (I may have just lied, but I bet I can find it again). As I recall, there was always this thang that Castrol could not be mixed with anythang else... What's up with that? I think that maybe has roots in where this question comes from.
