I have a 2N, i would like to purchase 16" front rims that have the large bolt pattern like the orignal 9n/2n hub. I have seen parts retailers that have the 19" rim availble, but not the 16" rim. Anyone know where i can get them? i know they exsist becasue i have seen pictures of them here on this forum. Thanks... Keith

I have a pair of 2N front wheels that have been cut down to accept 15" tires. They are very well made, but not factory. They're available if you're interested. Email me for photos.

Hi Keith,

My 5.50X16 front wheels on my 2N are in poor condition too. I have not been able to find a source to buy a factory-made 16 inch wheel, either.

The majority of the wheels you see like this are rims where the 'center' has been cut out of a 19 inch rim and then welded into the wheel part of a 16 inch rim.

I did buy a pair of these rims last summer (from a guy on this board) that appear to be factory made. They are rusted out around the valve stem hole, though. I will have to repair that by welding in some new metal.

I agree with the other poster who advised its easier to put 8N hubs on it, then you can find all kinds of wheels that will fit it.

Keith.....you can change the hubs and go with 8n hubs. Then you can find all the rims you want. This may be what you have seen on the board. don b
