Have renewed flares with a small ball pein hammer by tapping out all along outer circumference untill a satisfactory rim is acheived,[dont forget to install flange first]

I don't have a flange it's a round clamp V" grooved inside to receive exhaust and muffler. What size hammer you use and you use any heat ?

No heat, small hammer, maybe 6 oz.go slowly and evenly around circumference,[may want to try it first on a scrap piece]

A good muffler shop should be able to do that for you and it shouldn't cost very much to have it done. maybe $10 or so
