Have any of you guys used a PTO driven wood chipper on their N tractor? Is there enough power in a N to turn one over? If so what brands seem to be better? Thanks for any input.

I use a 6" self feed chipper. It's a Jinma but it weighs 800 pounds and it only cost $1550. Google chinasbestproducts. You pay up front and wait a month to get it right from China. You can get them in the US for about 2000 plus tax and shipping. The fan belt for the self feed needs to be swaped for a nappa belt and then you can beat the heck out of it.

I have one not sure of the brand, it will take up to I believe 6 inces, but I burn up to 2-3 so never had to use that big haha.. I havent run it on my N yet but I have it on my 5000, this will run it at an idle or a bit above with no trouble I am sure the N will run it, I think someone uses one here I have seen a picture before of it on the N. I am going to try it someday just to be sure, pat
