I am about to finally replace the wobbly crankshaft pully.I did a search and got lot's of info,(rope trick, not too high grade bolt,1 5/16").
I still wonder if I can still use my hand crank bolt on the new pully from Don B, or if I can do some mod on the new pully to keep the crank bolt?

Also, is the bolt right hand thread? I suspect so since I saw no mention of lefty tighty-righty loosie.

I'm using a new billet replacement pulley from Don B. and an original crank bolt without any problems.

the OEM crankshaft pulley bolt has a tapered backside to center the OEM sheetmetal pulley on the nose of the crankshaft. My billet replacement pulley (designed for frontmount hydraulic pump) did not have a relief for the taper so I used a regular bolt (5/8 - 18 X 1") and a flat washer. Doesn't wobble anymore..... ..Dell
