OK, I will be the critic! On the one pic of the starter it looks like you may have got some of the primer on the starter commutator. If so, you should polish it off before using. Other than that, it looks great. Keep up the good work.

Looks like you are making a lot of progress. I've had mine since last October and haven't gotten as much done as you have since December.
I am taking all the paint off my hydraulic lift quadrant and after polishing with xfine steel wool, will clearcoat it.
I noticed also that yours has a drawbar with anchor underneath. Did you drill and tap the housing for this or was it this way when you got it? My 9N has a drawbar bracket by the PTO, but it is not tapped for a belly anchor (for pin). As far as I know, none of the 9Ns had these.

Looking good! Thanks for sharing the pictures.

@ Indiana Jones The draw bar was on the tractor when I got it , what the guy dead , he remove 3 studs from the bottom of the trumpet and he used 2 " bolts , the piece is made of a 2 4" angle iron . it is very nicely done , I think I have more pictures of that part if you are interested .

Razvy, I went back and took a closer look at the pics. I see how he did it. Looks strong enough for pulling a wagon or something else on wheels.
Thanks.

Razvy, very impressive. It's swell to see so many hooked on preserving these N tractors.I wonder if Mr. Ford thought these Ns would be so addictive.A couple of questions please,,what type of shop is this, and I notice your "dust", what precautios do you take for your lungs? I'm not being critical because I have the same issue. It's great to get "how to" pointers.Hope to see more pics as you progress !!!

@ Drmeatman It's one car garage, very small to work but i manage . Regarding the dust ..? That's a problem, if you see I am not painting the entire tractor at one time, usually after i worm the garage up I shot down the kerosene heater and and I spray a coat of paint after that I leave the place, return in 2-3 hr to work in a different area. That paint dust it's in every little crack ::)))that's a different job to clean the place up .
