If you are pricing the fluid as sold in a five gallon bucket,, you are also paying for the bucket and lid....The fluid will (should be) way less costly if you bring your own container and purchase oil from bulk..

@Tm N MS & BDT in Minnesota Believe or not i don't have any other cheep alternative , Walmart in this part of the country don't sell oils in 5 gal bucket , If I have to go to a tractor supply I have to drive 125 mile (one trip) so... I am 5 miles from GW bridge and Manhattan , not to many places around to get stuff for my baby:((((

OOfdA,,much closer to the big city, youd havta worry bout getten parking tickets on yer baby!!!With those distances, no sense burning a tank of gas to save twenty bucks or so on the oil..I have seven barrel pumps on Shell barrels in my garage...so besides being sold on Shell products, I have a good dealer: Vatthauer Farm Supply out of Red Lake Falls, Mn...Sometimes I don't realize how nice I have it up here...The New Holland dealer is only 14 miles in the other directon: Winger Implement. That is sure handy when I need hydroulic hoses or other parts..

Sounds like a fine substitute for 134D, and is grossly over priced.

The data sheet says it's "suitable" for use in FNH M2C134 applications...

I think that if you'd use the NH 134 oil (the "thin stuff") this oil is a suitable alternative. Personally I prefer the "thin stuff" to the "thick stuff", especially when the weather's cold.

Yes I agree regarding the thickness of the oil . Some guys go with thick oil to prevent licks , if it's licking it's time to fix it !!!!!
